The House

The house--is a dream come true.  It has absolutely everything I had been dreaming about, and MORE.

I dreamed for a home in the countryside--uh, this is IN the country! It's at the end of a countryroad surrounded by a nature preserve. The countryside, the fields, the lakes, the streams, the trees...are breathtaking.

I dreamed for two homes in one--this has a main house and also a smaller guest house next door.  In total there are 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.  MORE than enough room for our family, for the women, and even for friends and family to come and visit!

I dreamed for views for the women from their bedroom windows--not just their bedrooms, but all of the bedrooms have views of the countryside.

The house--is comfortable, homey.  It is big and spacious.  It has a great, welcoming feel to it.

The house--is around 200 years old.  It was a originally a barn.  In 1989, there were cows and horses living in the big house, and the little house was a pig sty, literally.   Over the past 20 years, it was built into the home it is today--keeping the original walls and exposed wood beams intact.

The house--is filled with the Presence of God. It was built by a Godly family and has been used over the past twenty years to glorify the Lord.  It just feels different. The owner of the home prayed for seven months for the Lord to use the property in a way to bring Glory to Himself, and then he heard about our dream, and gave us a call and...the rest is History.

The house--is overwhelmingly, in the best of ways, a GIFT to us. It is an answer to the prayers of many. It is, no doubt,

a DREAM come true.
